Phillip Cheng is a Chinese American Creative Director with ties to New York, Shanghai, and the Midwest. He has a background in film and advertising, creating content for brands like John Frieda, The New York Times, and Dos Equis, as well as music videos for the American Ballet Theater and Carousel on Broadway. In 2018, he joined Condé Nast to develop video for GQ, Vanity Fair, WIRED, and Vogue and later oversaw video production for culinary brands Bon Appétit and Epicurious.

Phillip has conducted interviews with AAPI creators and filmmakers, including Randall Park, Lulu Wang, and Oscar-winning producer Jonathan Wang from Everything Everywhere All at Once.

In his free time you’ll find him and his partner hosting dinner parties in Brooklyn.
